This mother and daughter collection is so special. Seeing the two of them interacting together tells a story all of its own. The portraits were done as an anniversary gift for the dad. It was very emotional for him to see the final results of their session. Very beautiful!

Fun With Big Groups!

We've been having a blast with large group portraits. We've been shooting a lot of anniversaries and birthdays. It's great to see families getting together despite how busy life gets and it's been a priviledge to be a part of capturing those special times. Here's an image from a session at the Doberstein's family farm. And check out this handsome group of men.

Some Of Our Recent Family Portraits

The Eaton's family portrait was just so beautiful we had to post it. We posted some images of the kids a bit earlier but couldn't resist showing off the group shot. I just love the rich color in the grasses and overall depth to the portrait.

We also posted the Clement's grandchildren earlier but I thought that this was a great shot of Grandma with the kids. Such great energy... and do I sense a bit of mischief?

Imagine the fun capturing this group portrait! It is definately original and has a lot of energy. The family's lovely garden made for a perfect setting for their portrait.

These portraits were taken on the family's lovely property. They turned out fantastic!

It was a priviledge to do a portrait for this lovely couple and their daughter. We took a variety of images, some of them together as well as shots of each of them individually. It was absolutely priceless when the couple came to the studio to view the images. When the image of his wife came up on the big screen the husband announced with pride that he would be taking seven of those ones! That had to be one of the sweetest things that I've ever heard. I found it inspiring to see the love and friendship shared between the two of them.

Celebrating a 50th Wedding Anniversary

We were excited to be part of the Loiselle family celebrations by photographing the whole crew up at Mount Washington. Their portrait turned out beautifully. It was an awesome location and what a great looking family! We hope that you are enjoying your portraits.

The happy couple celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. It's certainly something to be very proud of. Congratulations from all of us here at Van's Portraits!!

Sisters

We photographed this sister session in our studio. I find that the studio setting allows for the ladies personalities to really shine through. We can truly focus on them. Very nice ladies!

We are looking forward to our exhibit and display this Saturday here at the studio. It's been a lot of fun capturing sisters interacting together. Each relationship is so unique and the results have been a great variety of portrait styles.
